In the Bulgarian capital, Sofia from 19 to 20.November was held 5. International Conference "Water loss reduction in Water Supply Systams " This is the largest regional conference which dealing with the problem of water loss and traditionally held every year in November. 

The conference was attended by experts and representatives of water utilities from Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatian, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy and Great Britain.

On this conference participants had oportunity  to exchange experience, and acquainted new technologies applicable for effectively  water loss reduction , what is one of the bigest problem in water sector  in all the countries in the region. 

In the frame of conference was held a round table "Exchange of Experience in Water Loss Reduction between Operators in South East European countries  (WOP-SEE). WOP-SEE is a network of partners which are working together to enable the functioning of partnerships among water utilities throughout South Eastern Europe, and the final goal is to allow utility companies to learn from each other without  profit.
