In the frame of  Water loss reduction  project  in the five  municipalities in Middle Bosnia from 12.11.2012.  started sound leak dection action in DMA Mahala  in Vitez municipality. At the beginning of this action  3 large underground leaks were detected, which the employees waterworks in Vitez repaired immediately.

Length of the network in the DMA is about 17 km, while in the area exists more than 550 connections. Most pipes are made of asbestos cement pipes. After completion of action for Vitez as well as all other water supplies covered by the project (Zenica, Travnik, Novi Travnik and Busovaca) will be prepared an action plan for improving the performance indicators in  the waterworks.
