Al Jazeera Balkans TV aired a "On Water without Water" show dedicated to the current situation when It comes to water supply of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The expert for water supply systems, ?evad Koldžo, briefly described the situation in the Water Utility in Sarajevo, saying that it is not a question of whether the system will collapse, but the question is when will it come to him.

Paradoxically, however, that the city located on the reserves of clean, drinking water has been put into the situation that its citizens should be afraid of the danger of water losing, in addition to the already existing water cuts present for the entire ten years.
On the other hand, in Sarajevo reservoirs, according to experts, there is far more water than is necessary for water supply .
From the main source in Bacevo, are extracting almost 4m3 per second. That's enough for two million inhabitants. Sarajevo is far from that number of citizens- said Koldžo.
Despite this, Sarajevo is buying water from the private sector, which costs almost a million euros annually.

The show can be viewed below.
