New book named "Advanced Techniques of Managing with water supply systems in utility companies," is published. Authors are eminent experts in this field: prof. dr. Suad Spago, doc. dr. Goramn Orašanin, M. Sc. ?evad Koldžo and prof. dr. Branko Vu?ijak.

This book is a continuation of the efforts of the authors initiated in previous publications ("Fundamentals of Managing with water supply systems in utility companies," Mostar 2014) to an accessible and timely manner shows some effective and operational management techniques for the municipal water companies.

The first chapter is a brief introduction to the field of operational and financial management, followed by two chapters which deal with issues and decision models in water supply enterprises (Fuzzy and classic concept of multi-criteria decision-making) with concrete examples from practice. The fourth chapter covers advanced techniques of determination and leak detection as a tool to control and maintain the efficiency of the water supply network. The fifth chapter deals with the tariff methodology, comparative analysis methodology of pricing in some EU countries and regions, with the proposal of the tariff structure and the way the budget price. International network performance comparisons ( "benchmarking") for water companies is presented in the sixth chapter to determine short-term and long-term target / benchmark values for the key performance indicators, which represent a measurement tool to check the improvement of efficiency of these enterprises. The book can be used in the management of utility companies, and planners in the water sector as well as other sectors that are associated with all aspects of water use, sustainable management of environmental infrastructure, water protection and the environment.
